Karen Anderson is a multi-disciplinary creative hybrid; she manages and unifies digital product teams (management, design, and development) across projects -- identifying creative opportunities, defining art direction, shaping business strategy, and steering people and projects in the right direction. With a focus on mobile initiatives, she is currently a director of UX Product Management, leading new digital product development and user experience strategy, for a firm in the financial services sector. She also has experience working in the start-up world, guiding early stage companies and products.
Prior to completing her MBA at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business, where she studied the Management of Innovation and New Product Development, Karen worked in the built environment, creating interiors for private clients on the East Coast. Her background in architecture continues to influence the way she frames digital projects.
She holds degrees in English, architecture, and design from Wellesley College and the University of Massachusetts. When not busy helping great ideas to grow, you'll find her reading, crafting, or hiking the hills of Pennsylvania.
