Karen Anderson is a multi-disciplinary creative hybrid; she leads, manages and unifies digital product teams across product portfolios -- identifying creative opportunities, defining team direction, shaping business strategy, and steering people and projects in the right direction. Most recently, she was the Head of UX Product Management for a financial services company, leading user experience strategy and new digital product design development. She also has experience working in start-ups, guiding early stage companies and innovative products.
Prior to completing her MBA at Carnegie Mellon's Tepper School of Business, where she studied the Management of Innovation and New Product Development, Karen worked in the built environment, creating interiors for private clients on the East Coast. Her background in interiors and architecture continues to influence the way she frames digital projects.
She holds degrees in English, architecture, and design from Wellesley College and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. When not busy helping great ideas to grow, you'll find her reading or gardening.
